Senior Driver Training (4hrs)
Course Aim
The aim of this course is to provide you with the theoretical, core knowledge of driving physics and the impacts of sensorimotor and human senses. Thereafter you will gain extensive practical training with your own vehicle to experience and improve your driving skills in accordance with the acquired theory.
We want you to benefit from learning through your own driving experience.
Course Description
This course is best suited to participants who want to experience driving at an advanced level but who have never attended a driving course run by Test & Training Driving Experience®. This training is similar to the Intensive Course but conducted without time constraints.
Training is executed with the latest state-of-the-art equipment such as HATS Hazard Avoiding Training System, RTG Reaction Time Gauge and BFG Brake Force Gauge.
A competent instructor will guide, control and monitor you through training while you gain driving experience.
At the end of the course, all participants will receive Test & Training Driving Experience® “Confirmation of Participation” certificate.
Training Program:
- 45 Min. Presentation: Core driving physics, sensorimotor and human senses
- 45 Min. Driving Experience: Posture, Steering and Vision techniques, Brake force and Reaction time measurements
- 45 Min. Driving Experience: Correct Braking techniques
- 45 Min. Driving Experience: ABS / Non-ABS
- 45 Min. Driving Experience: Braking and evasion of unanticipated hazards
- Debriefing
